Cattle associations help bring food to those in need

School may be out for summer, but last Thursday the parking lot at Goldendale High School was full of local residents-many whom never dreamed they would need to ask for help. The weather was brisk and the line long for area residents waiting to fill empty boxes, bags and coolers with nutritious donated food. Numerous community members were standing in line to assist shut ins and those who couldn't afford to take time off work in order that others might have some extra help putting food on the table.
