Traveling the country to build houses for veterans

MUSTANG GREETING: Members of two Ford Mustang car clubs greeted the Wounded Warrior Mustang at Maryhill and escorted car and drivers to Ellensburg.

The Wounded Warrior Shelby Mustang GT500 passed through Klickitat County on Thursday, on its way to Spokane. The car, which raises money for wounded veterans is covered with signatures of veterans, their families and supporters. It was driven on this leg of its journey by Dennis and Henrietta "Hank" Hank and accompanied by Ron Manuel, all of Grants Pass, Ore. The car was met outside Maryhill State Park by about 20 cars, mostly from a couple of Mustang car clubs, including one from Yakima. They accompanied the Wounded Warrior tribute car on its way to Ellensburg.

The car is a 2014 Mustang owned by the Wounded Warrior Family Support organization which is trying to raise $1,000,000. It bega...
