Harvest moon walk at Discovery Center

 


Take time to appreciate the Harvest moon on Monday, Sept. 8, 6:30 p.m. when the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum offers a free interpretive walk down the scenic Riverfront Trail. Meet natural and cultural history interpreter Steve Thompson in front of the Discovery Center at 6:30 p.m. for this one hour hike. The trail includes Oregon Trail and Lewis and Clark sites of interest.

The path is paved and handicap-accessible. The crest of the moon’s full phase comes at 6:38 p.m. PDT. Bring your friends and family for this free event, but please leave pets at home.
