50 Years Ago - September 10, 1964

The Goldendale Timberwolves are rounding into shape for their opening home game with White Swan Sept. 18 with 14 lettermen reporting to Coach Jim Hitter and his assistants Dick Ballard and Jack Bloxom. A total of 53 candidates including the freshmen are working out each day in an effort to make the varsity, the Junior Varsity or the Freshman starting eleven.

75 Years Ago - September 7, 1939

Army regulations, not wives are the reason Camp Goldendale CCC enrollees continue to go about clean shaven in utter disregard to the Jamboree whisker edict. Some of the enrollees were eager enough and already had good starts for the $5 awards when Vancouver Barrac...
