Lady Wolves continue to score, looking for first win

 


Still searching for a win, Goldendale’s girls’ soccer team scored in their two matches last week, making it three matches in a row that they got on the board and they have yet to give up double digit scoring on defense.

Summer Larson had the hat-trick for the Scotties, who led 3-0 at the half in Thursday’s match at Highland. Goldendale got on the board at the 55 minute mark on a goal by Cheyenne Smith. Highland scored at the 73 minute mark to make the final score 6-1. Neda Maghsadi had 10 saves for Goldendale.

Injuries and illness hampered the Wolves on Saturday at Connell where they fell to a 7-1 score.

The Lady Timberwolves traveled to La Salle on Tuesday and host Mabton at 4 p.m....
