Sense of urgency in Goldendale following pair of league losses

CROWD SUPPORT: The crowd was into every big hit as Bailee Johnson elevates for a shot against Naches Valley.

A pair of league losses has Goldendale in need of some wins as the volleyball team starts its second run through league opposition with La Salle, this Thursday in Goldendale. There is no indication of panic, but there is some urgency for the Lady Timberwolves to beat the top teams in the league if they hope to make it to Districts.

Last week Goldendale lost the set after wining the first game against Naches Valley in Goldendale and the Wolves were swept in Zillah two days later. The rematch with La Salle will come after a long break from league play as they traveled to a tournament in Spokane.

Goldendale traded points with the Naches Valley throughout most of the first game and were down...
