Achieve your 2015 Goals: Secrets to successful behavior change

 


Happy New Year! If you’re kicking off 2015 intent on making a positive change in your life, I’ve got a few tools to help you. We can set ourselves up for success by learning a bit of the psychology behind successful behavior change. Understanding SMART goal setting, the Transtheoretical Model of Change and the Five A’s of Behavior Change can be helpful in achieving a healthier, happier you in 2015. Go for it!

SMART goal setting. Setting goals for yourself gives you focus and direction. In order for a goal to be powerful, make it S.M.A.R.T. This acronym has a few variations but in general it stands for Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Bound.
