Many people hate change. I am not one of them. I love change. But, I had mixed feelings when I saw what Highland basketball has become. Not so much the players or the playing, but the home support, or lack of it.

I first covered a game at Highland in 2007. It was a packed house and the place oozed tradition, from the sacred, painted tool box the coach brought to the bench as if it contained the soul of Highland, to the Lassies doing the Highland Fling, maybe one too many times.
