Last chance for league win on Senior Night

 


There was an ebb and flow to Goldendale’s game against Naches Valley, last Friday. In the end, the Rangers’ flow drowned out Timberwolf surges and Naches Valley won 60-35. It came on the heels of a tough 71-16 loss at Zillah and kept Goldendale from breaking into the win column. Saturday’s 66-60 loss to Cle Elum-Roslyn dropped Goldendale’s record to 0-11 in league play with just one game left against Granger.

Goldendale got just five shots off in the first quarter at home against Naches Valley. Too many turnovers and five missed lay-ins in the first half were hard to overcome. But, then came the surge. Dillon Shattuck went to the line to shoot two free throws in the second quarter...
