Golding wins over tough field at Ike

 


Brian Golding is picking up where he left off last year in the hurdles. The Goldendale junior has two starts in the 300 meter hurdles this year and has two wins. His latest came on Saturday at the Don Holder Relays at Eisenhower High School, in Yakima.

Golding ran the race in 40.10 seconds, about 5-seconds faster than his time at the meet last year. He is also less than a second off his personal record (PR) set at the State 1A meet in Cheney last year. The win on Saturday came against particularly tough competition with several teams from 3A and 4A divisions competing. Golding posted the only win for the Timberwolves who had few athletes finish in the top 10 of any event.
