CSR Enterprises is introducing wild land firefighters to the Northwest

DEVASTATION: The effects of wildfires are fresh in the minds of Klickitat County residents who have experienced major fires in three of the last four years. The photo shows some of the damage from the 2013 Monastery Fire.

With a strongly suggested fire season approaching, several men and women are preparing to face many heated battles with one of the most destructive elements nature has to offer. Although there are hundreds of fire departments between Oregon and Washington combined, some of these ferocious fires call for more men and women than there are available. Because of this, the government offers its own brand of firefighting.
