City post office wants to 'stamp out hunger'

ANOTHER POSTAL SERVICE: Goldendale Postmaster Jim Hamilton says Goldendale has been very responsive to charities.

Every second Saturday in May letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns nationwide are collecting food from the gracious hearts of their communities to "Stamp Out Hunger" in the NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive. Celebrating its 23rd year, the Goldendale Postal Service will be collecting non-perishable goods to help the local food bank feed the hungry,
