Out-of-towners get hitched at the Presby

SHARING BONDS WITH EACH OTHER AND THE PRESBY: Centerville minister Ken Akens joins Randy and Shirley Uhl in holy matrimony on the Presby porch Friday.

Among all the places along the Columbia River Gorge to host a wedding ceremony, a couple chose to marry at the Presby House Museum in Goldendale.

The colorful museum represents much of the history of Klickitat County and makes a beautiful place to wed.

"We chose to get married at the Presby House Museum for several reasons," says resident of Ellensburg and newlywed Randy Uhl. "We were looking for a place that was geographically friendly to ourselves in Ellensburg and our family."

Shirly Uhl, nee Shirley Raab, has family in Portland, and they were in attendance at their wedding on Friday, May 15. Randy Uhl's sister and brother in-law are from Redmond, Ore. and were also able to witness the...
