Glen Pierce named outstanding member at Ketchum Kalf Rodeo

CLOSE QUARTERS: There was a lot of action right in front of the chutes during bull riding at the Ketchum Kalf Rodeo. Sid Britt, rode out the high-kicking start, but was in the dirt after a couple of spins.

Travis Erb won all-around cowboy honors and received the Tye Murray Memorial jacket at the Ketchum Kalf Rodeo in Glenwood over the weekend. Erb was second in steer wrestling and teamed with Matt Erb for third in team roping.

The Shawna Roberson Memorial buckle was won by 13 year old Courtney Tatro, of Centerville.

Glen Pierce, of Glenwood was awarded the Hank Ladiges Memorial buckle presented to the outstanding rodeo association member.

This year's rodeo paid out $24,860.75 with 237 entries.

The top three per event were: Bareback bronc - 1st Kyle Bounds $475, 2nd Seth Shelton $296.88, 3rd Kevin Lusk 296.87. Saddle bronc - 1st Mitch Randall $646, 2nd Justin Chappell $484.50, 3rd Kaila Mus...
