KCSO crack down on drinking and boating and underage consumption

Klickitat-Lyle Against Substance Abuse Coalition and the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office has been working in a partnership to reduce under age drinking. As a result of this partnership, the Klickitat County Sheriff' Office will be conducting water patrol on the Klickitat and White Salmon Rivers throughout the summer for under age drinking and other liquor violations. 

"We are trying to establish a safe environment for our youth during their water activities on the river," says Chief Deputy Mike Kallio. "We will be posting flyers at various locations on the Klickitat and White Salmon Rivers warning youth about illegal drinking." The flyers will state: "Klickitat County Sheriff's Office...
