Warmest June on record for Goldendale

 


According to preliminary data received by NOAA’s National Weather Service in Pendleton, temperatures at Goldendale averaged much warmer than normal during the month of June.

The average temperature was 68.5 degrees which was 8.1 degrees above normal. High temperatures averaged 86.2 degrees, which was 10.9 degrees above normal. The highest was 106 degrees on the 28th. Low temperatures averaged 50.7 degrees, which was 5.2 degrees above normal. The lowest was 38 degrees, on the 13th.

On nine days, the temperature exceeded 90 degrees. It was at least 100 degrees on 3 days.

Precipitation totaled 0.00 inches during June, which was 0.47 inches below normal.
