Santa's Closet starts to fill up

While most people wait to do their Christmas shopping until Black Friday, others start early. This is completely understandable, especially if you are shopping for thousands of children.

But who would shop for thousands of children? Two very generous women in Goldendale are actually spending most of the year shopping for children throughout Klickitat County who would otherwise go without Christmas presents. How can these women pull this off? The answer is two words: Santa's Closet.

"I have been doing this Christmas program for about 15 years now," says LeAndra Kessinger, one of the women behind Santa's Closet. "The program was actually founded in 2001 by Kathleen Barry and Irma Chambers....
