Freeman Johnson

Freeman Enos Johnson, 60, of Kennewick, WA, after a long struggle with COPD and lung cancer died on Saturday, October 17, 2015 peacefully in his home. He was born March 26, 1955 to Enos and Rose Johnson in Goldendale, WA. He attended Goldendale High School where he met his love Deborah Evans and later married.

Freeman worked many years as a drywall contractor. He had many interests, but being a grandfather was his calling!

He will be greatly missed. Freeman is survived by his loving wife Deborah Johnson, son, Joshua Johnson and wife, Veronica, daughter, Christina Hensley, son, Paul Verellen and Daughter, Crystal Verellen, along with their grandchildren, Elijah Johnson, Scooter Verellen, Luis Verellen, Jared Hensley and Cody Hensley. He is survived by his mother, Rose Johnson, sisters, Judy Harvey, Carol Taylor and husband Scott, Cheryl Taylor and husband, Jim, Brothers, Otis Johnson and wife, Chris, Steve Johnson and wife, Lanae, also with many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Freeman was preceded in death by an older sister, Patricia May, his father, Enos Johnson, and brother-in-law, Richard Harvey.

A potluck lunch in Freeman's memory will be held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church's Better Living Center on Bickleton HWY, Sunday, October 25th, 2015 at 12 noon.
