Cougars over Acorns 38-6 at Oakville

Lyle-Wishram upped its record to 4-3 with a football win over Oakville 38-6. A 24 point explosion in the fourth quarter sealed the win for the Cougars.

Two key components of the Cougar running game, Elijah McCullough and Mason Goolsby returned after missing the Taholah game, giving the Cougar running game a shot in the arm. Quincy McConville rushed for 67 yards on 15 carries and Goolsby had five carries for 54 yards and a touchdown. Jarren Leslie rushed for 33 yards and scored a touchdown.

Quarterback Gavyn Nelson ran for 38 yards and threw for 180. He scored on one run and threw for touchdowns to Randy Hubbard and Jeremiah Ostrander. Hubbard had three catches for 99 yards and Dasean Leslie caught two passes for 71 yards.
