Bryan and Golding lead Wolves at Don Holder Relays

 


Goldendale’s hurdling duo of Ocean Bryan and Brian Golding picked up where they left off last year with strong performances at the Don Holder Relays in Yakima, Saturday. Bryan and Golding each placed second in the 300 meter hurdles against stiff competition from across the state. Bryan’s time was 49.33 seconds. The race was won by Bianca Chavez, of Kennewick, in 48.88. Golding’s time was 40.61, behind winner Roman Ruiz, of Chiawana in 39.62.

Last year, Bryan and Golding swept the 300 hurdles in nine meets. Bryan had 10 straight first place finishes before State, where she finished sixth. Golding had 12 wins and one second place finish during 2015 and was second at State after postin...
