Henry "Hank" Meech

It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, Henry "Hank" Meech, age 70. He passed away on May 12, 2016 at his home.

Hank served four years in the US Navy and worked 35 years in union construction. He was a strong man who loved his family, classic cars, fishing, rock hunting, RVing and all things outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wm. Meech Sr. and Blanche Meech of Goldendale; 3 brothers, Wm. Meech Jr. and Dennis Meech, both of Goldendale, and Ronald Meech of Sequim, WA; 3 sisters, Gladys Scott of Goldendale, Donna Smith of Aloha, OR, and Marla Thompson of Seattle, WA.

Hank leaves behind his wife of 49 years Erma, 3 children, Anthony Meech and Liz Meech-Tattrie both of Vancouver, WA, and Neil Meech of Seattle, WA, and 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 sister, Carol Fiore of Seattle, WA, and 1 brother Paul Meech of Goldendale, and 23 nieces, nephews and their families.

The family would like to express our gratitude to the Hospice team, which is headed by our niece Susan Curry, for the excellent care they provided.

Henry was a fine man who was cherished by his family and will be terribly missed.
