Keep him on

Please retain Rep Norm Johnson for Legislative District 14. He cares about Klickitat County, even the most rural parts. He sponsored and was able to pass HB 2476, waivers from the 180 day school year requirement. By adding one and a half hours to each school day Monday through Thursday in Bickleton School District, Fridays are now used for sports programs and for professional development for teachers.  This flexible schedule has met local needs, saved the school district $40,000 this year alone in transportation costs, and lowered absenteeism.  That’s  just one example of how he has helped Klickitat County.

Rep. Johnson not only works for us in Olympia, he is attentive to his constituents in the county and participates locally. He often meets with our County Commissioners to discuss county and state issues, attends functions and is supportive of Skyline Hospital, joined the Board of Trustees of Maryhill Museum, and facilitated meetings to help Maryhill Museum receive a large state grant to repair the roof and the stucco outside of the building.  He is always there for us and always accessible.

He votes to support Klickitat County. Let’s vote to retain Rep. Norm Johnson.
