THANK YOU

There are not enough words in all the languages of the world that can express my sincerest gratitude to the Service men and women who have sacrificed and given so much to ensure our freedoms through the generations. My Grandfather Knute Hanson was a P.O.W. in Japan, my Grandfather Donald Hendrickson also was in WW11. My Uncle Dan Hendrickson and Ron Hanson both were in Vietnam. My dear, sweet friend Mike was also in Vietnam. There is a person who I will not mention because I don’t know how they would feel being pointed out, you know who you are and looking in your eyes and saying thank you was not just a thing to say, I truly meant it from the bottom of my heart and soul. It is because of you, my daughters can go to school safely without acid being thrown in their faces or being sold off for marriage at nine years old. They can grow up to be women who can accomplish anything their heart desires. My sons can grow up to be men and finish school without being recruited to join the military at twelve years old. All of my children have been given the opportunity to choose to protect this country. I go to bed at night knowing my family is protected and has been protected, by the most amazing group of men and women on the planet. Thank you for protecting my children’s lives. Thank you for protecting mine. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do. I do not know all your names or your faces, however, you are deeply implanted in my heart. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
