Legends renovation offers 200 new jobs

You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to check in to a 200-room hotel with valet parking, Wi-Fi and an indoor pool. Today marks the first day of reservations for a new hotel and conference center at Legends Casino in Toppenish.

The hotel is part of a $90 million expansion and renovation project scheduled for 2017. General Manager Letisha Peterson says the hotel is just part of the first phase.

"We want to welcome people back," Peterson says. "For people who haven't been in a few years, it's well worth the trip to see what Yakama has to offer."
