Primary School students learn to 'synergize'

Students at the Goldendale Primary School last week took part in a 'synergizing' assembly. Students build a marshmallow tower.

On March 22 the Goldendale Primary School hosted a "Leader in Me" assembly focused on teaching students the importance of working together, or "Synergizing." Some students participated in an activity with teachers in which they built a tower from marshmallows and spaghetti by working together (see picture). In addition, three primary school students were awarded the outstanding leadership award. They're in the picture with the superintendent, Mark Hyde, and GPS Principal Chip Ferrell. (Students: Bennett Buchanan, Frankie Shatraw, Matthew Gray).
