PUD to hold meeting

The Glenwood school bands and their director, Jennifer Hallenbeck, wish to thank everyone who came out to the Open Mic Night last Wednesday. Jennifer reports that it was a wonderful evening filled with amazing community talent, and they thank everyone who attended for supporting music in the school.

Representatives from Klickitat County PUD will hold a public meeting at the Glenwood Grange Hall on Tuesday, April 11, at 7 p.m. This is your opportunity to talk to the PUD regarding any concerns or questions you may have.

The Community Church will hold a Good Friday service on Friday, April 14, at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday Sunrise Service will be held April 16 at the Jorgensen Ranch on Kreps Lane at 6:30 a.m. Following Sunrise Service, a potluck brunch will be served at the church, followed by the Easter Sunday Service at 11 a.m.

Here’s another reminder that the Community Easter Egg hunt will take place at the park in Pine Vista on Saturday, April 15, beginning at 10 a.m. The hunting area will be divided into three age groups: toddler through preschool, kindergarten-first grade, and second-third grade. The Easter Bunny will be present to greet the children, hand out treats, and pose for photo ops. Once again, some of the eggs will have monetary values marked on them and can be turned in at the egg hunt table for the amount marked on the egg. Bring your little kids and come out for this fun annual event.

Friday night bingo scheduled for April 14 has been rescheduled to April 21 to not conflict with the Good Friday services.
