Goldendale track continues SCAC league meets, competes in elite Pasco Invite

All local track and field teams returned from spring break for a busy and eventful week, with a few of the teams competing at multiple competitions during the stretch.
Sandwiched in between a pair of South Central Athletic Conference meets, eight Goldendale Timberwolves athletes competed in the Pasco Invitational on Saturday. The invite drew around 1,500 elite athletes from 98 schools in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
The Timberwolves also had their first SCAC meet last Tuesday in Naches, with many finishing with personal best times and distances and at the top of the standings. On Monday they made the near 300 mile trip for another SCAC meet in Royal City, competing against seven other...
