Dad's Obituary

Tharon D. Griffith, 79, died April 10 at his residence in Goldendale.

He was born in Toppinish Washington on July 9, 1937 "Under a peach tree" to Cleatus and Dorothy Griffith, the oldest of 8 Children.

Terry drove truck for Fred Meyer for 20 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 162, and retired to Goldendale in 1995.

Terry enjoyed Camping with family & friends, and his lifelong hobby, was Golf. "Griff's" favorite Golf quote was, "It's not that all Golfers lie, it's just that a lot of liar's Golf"!!! "Griff" will be missed greatly by all of his golfing buddies.

Mr. Griffith is preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Griffith of Cascade Idaho.

Terry is survived by his wife Laurie Griffith and son Dean Griffith, of Emmett Idaho, daughter Jodi Griffith-Mathews, of Ponte Vedra, Florida, and son Marty Griffith, of Arlington, Washington; Seven Grandchildren, and Nine Great grandchildren.

A "Celebration of Life" gathering took place Friday April 14th at the Goldendale American Legion.
