Food bank still getting food

 

The deadline issued by the Washington Gorge Action Program (WGAP) for the Goldendale Food Bank (GFB) to come into complete compliance with its directives has passed, and early indications are that there will be no interruption in food deliveries to the GFB.

"So far it seems it's business as usual," says John Quinn, co-chair of the GFB. A fresh delivery of food was picked up from WGAP recently, after the June 9 deadline. Quinn says he's been invited to the next WFAP board meeting. But Quinn adds, "It's premature to say it's over."
