Below is a summary of resolutions from the Superior Court criminal docket for the week of Nov. 20, 2017, provided by Klickitat County Prosecuting Attorney David R. Quesnel. Superior Court is in session generally every other week.

• State of Washington v. Shane A. Jones, #15-1-00123-1, a jury could not reach a unanimous verdict and a mistrial was declared.

• State of Washington v. Brandon J. Edgmand, #17-1-00008-8, on 10/02/17 the defendant pleaded guilty to Child Molestation 2nd Degree, RCW 9A.44.086, date of offense 1/23/17, and on 11/20/17 he was sentenced to 70 months in prison, legal financial obligations and 36 months DOC supervision.

• State of Washington v. Charles E. Jacoby, #17-1-00065-20, on 10/16/17 the defendant pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine, RCW 69.50.4013, date of offense 2/24/2017 and on 11/20/17 he was sentenced to 45 days in jail, legal financial obligations and 12 months DOC supervision.


• State of Washington v. Alexander M. Lavell, #17-1-00088-20, defendant pleaded guilty to Vehicular Assault, RCW 46.61.522, date of offense 8/08/2017, and was sentenced to 55 days in jail and legal financial obligations.

• State of Washington v. Ryan D. Mayer, #17-1-00096-20, defendant pleaded guilty to Assault in the Third Degree – Domestic Violence, RCW 9A.36.031 and 10.99.020, date of offense 8/19/17, and was sentenced to 3 months in jail, legal financial obligations and 12 months DOC supervision.

• State of Washington v. Peter J. Arendas, #17-1-00098-20, defendant was found guilty after a 10/18/17 jury trial of Assault in the Third Degree (Law Enforcement Officer), RCW 9A.36.031, and Trespassing in the First Degree, RCW 9A.52.070, date of offenses 8/28/2017, and on 11/20/17 he was sentenced to 3 months in jail, legal financial obligations and 12 months DOC supervision.

• State of Washington v. Aric L. Reetz, #17-1-00107-20, defendant pleaded guilty to Malicious Mischief in the Third Degree – Domestic Violence, RCW 9A.48.090 and 10.99.020, date of offense 9/16/17, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail and legal financial obligations.

• State of Washington v. Denise D. Gonzelez, #17-1-00117-20, defendant pleaded guilty to Residential Burglary, RCW 9A.52.025, date of offense 10/18/17, and was sentenced to 6 months in jail and legal financial obligations.

• State of Washington v. Erica J. Parkin, #17-1-00129-20, defendant pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, RCW 69.50.401, date of offense 11/13/17, and was sentenced to 12 months and 1 day in prison, legal financial obligations and 12 months DOC supervision.
