If anyone is looking to sharpen up their archery skills or just wanting to get out and shoot some arrows at some three-dimensional targets, this weekend's archery shoot will be the place to be.

Put on by the Goldendale 4H Archery Sharpshooters and held at 594 Bernhard Road out past Box Canyon Road, anyone that's interested will be able to put their archery skills to the test Saturday and Sunday while shooting at 3-D targets.

With proceeds going to help the Goldendale 4H Archery Sharpshooters, costs for adult archers is $12 for a day or $20 for both Saturday and Sunday. Family rates also are available at $20 for one day or $30 for both. Kids age 12-17 can shoot for $8 a day or $12 for both days and kids 11 and under shoot for free.

Shooting each day takes place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a barbeque lunch going from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, water, soda, and other concessions will be available for lunch.

To reach 594 Bernhard Road, drive nine miles north of town on Highway 97. Head east on Box Canyon Road about 1.7 miles to Saxton Road, turn left on Mebbs, and then turn right onto Bernhard.
