We sure had quite a storm last weekend. We know of several trees down around the community, some building damage, and power outages that were longer for some than for others. I hope, overall, our community didn’t sustain too much serious damage. I learned that our Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department goes out and removes downed trees from our roads in storms like this. I hope they all know how greatly we appreciate all they do for our community. If you see a Glenwood Fire Department member, please thank them for all they do.
We received news that Forrest Putnam, son of Nate and Betsy Putnam, was named to the Cedarville (Ohio) University Dean’s Honor List for fall 2020 semester. To make this list, Forrest obtained a 3.75 or higher GPA while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours. Way to go, Forrest.
The next Kids Jam at the church will be held on Friday, Feb 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All kids in grades kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to enjoy a fun night of games, awesome music, a cool Bible story, amazing crafts, and more. If any children have not registered for Kids Jam, parents can pick up a form at the post office or church. Also mark your calendars for future Kids Jams on March 19, April 16, and May 21.
