Last week we ran a picture of a group of people, nine women and three men, in business attire in what appeared to be a business conference room. We invited readers to identify the people, the place, and the time.
Sure enough, our reliable readers—two of them—came through.
The picture is the staff of the National Bank of Commerce, later know as Rainier Bank. It was taken in 1969. The pictured people’s names are as follows:
Front row, left to right: Virginia Taylor, Ron Loomis, Daryl Spalding, Barry Laws, Lil Woolley, and Mildred Whyte.
Back row, left to right: Carol Kleebe, Arlene Husted, Ruth Scofield, Doris Riches, Betty Sarsfield, and Marilyn Enwards.
