Andrew Francis Ford was born in Magic Springs, Arkansas, on June 17, 1934, to Nellie Armandy (Cherry) and John Harrison Ford. He married Earlene Redman in Leslie, Arkansas, on October 7, 1954, and the couple moved to Yakima, Washington, in 1955. Andrew worked in agriculture until he took a job with Yakima County in public relations.

The Fords retired to Goldendale in 1997. Andrew loved to hunt deer, elk, and mountain goat. Even while he was living in Yakima, he enjoyed hunting in Goldendale. Mr. Ford passed away in Goldendale on May 19, 2021, at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife Earlene Ford of Goldendale; children Steve (Joyce) Ford of Yakima, James (Karol) Ford of Portland, Allena (Thomas) McKenna of Richland and Kevin (Lisa) Ford of Yakima; sister Johnie Graham of Leslie, AR; brother Howard Ford off Kansas City; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers Houston, Walter, Harrison, Jack, Edsel, and Joel Ford, and sisters Ona Mae Camp and Josephine Summerhill.
