Bruce W. Tupper, age 58, of El Paso, Texas, passed away February 15, 2021, after a cardiac arrest following a battle with diabetes and Covid 19.
Bruce was born January 14, 1963, and adopted by Elsie G. and Clarence L. Tupper in The Dalles, Oregon. After graduating from Columbia High School in 1981, he worked for Edgar Holbrook at Bishop Companies in Goldendale for most of his life.
In 2003 Bruce met Estela Garcia. They married in 2008 and he helped to raise three step-daughters, Alma Rosa, Ana Alicia, and Abigail Jurado.
Bruce studied Computer/ Internet Technology at Vista College and graduated with an associate’s degree in 2011.
He learned of his birth mother, Mrs. Nelson, then deceased, and half-siblings, Kelly, Lisa, Mike, and Brad. Bruce went on to contact and build a relationship with these. After relocating full-time to El Paso in 2019, Bruce enjoyed researching family history and photo-documenting family events.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Elsie G. and Clarence L. Tupper. He is survived by siblings Dave, Dale, Paul, Julia, Anne, and Sue; cousins Edward and Caroline Stites; aunts Geraldine Stites and Marjorie Wentland; wife Estela G. Tupper; step-daughters Alma, Ana, and Abby; daughter Rachelle Tupper; and best friends Sid Holbrook, Toby Thomas, and Bub Genson; as well as countless other family and friends who loved and will remember Bruce fondly.
A celebration of Bruce Tupper’s life will take place at the Goldendale Seventh-day Adventist Church, Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 2 p.m. A potluck meal will follow at the Better Living Center (BLC.)
