Tamera Jean (Gangle) Griffith, a loving wife, Mother, Nana, and daughter, died after a long battle with cancer on October 10, 2020.
Tamera (Tammy) is survived by: her father Frank Gangle; sister Cathy Laws; husband Jerry Griffith; and her sons Jaime Cardenas, Jesse Cardenas, and Joshua Griffith. She is predeceased by her mother, Jean Gangle, and her brother, Frank Gangle.
Tamera was born in Yakima on Monday, April 6, 1959, to Frank and Jean Gangle. She attended Wapato School District. She married the love of her life, Jerry Griffith, on December 5, 1993. From there, the couple and their sons moved to Goldendale. There, Tamera worked for the city of Goldendale till 2009, when she and Jerry relocated to Kennewick, Washington.
Tamera was a loving wife and mother. She loved to spend every waking moment with her family, from fishing and swimming to shopping and watching movies; she was always the life of the party. She could be found singing and dancing around the house and in car rides—music was her passion. Her excitement for life and her love for her family will truly be missed.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, at the West Hills Cemetery in Yakima.
