On the evening of August 19, 2020, Timothy Earl Boardman passed away at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital, Vancouver, Washington, at the age of 49.
Tim was born April 17, 1971, in Vancouver, Washington, and moved to his parent’s farm in Goldendale at the age of 7. He graduated from Goldendale High School in the class of 1989. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served proudly for seven years. He earned the rank of Staff Sergeant while serving as a radio operator and load master on C-130 transport planes.
Following his Marine Corps service, he was employed for 17 years as a deputy with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.
Tim enjoyed camping with his family, working on home improvement projects, and restoring old cars.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard. He is survived by his brother, Martin, his mother, June, and his two children, James and Katie.
Tim’s remains will be interred at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Time and date have not yet been determined.
