20 years ago on May 16, 1991

• The Forry Stables, at the corner of Northeast Third and North King, is slowly burning away as fires, as recent as Wednesday, May 8, continue to destroy the old abandoned wood building. The buildings, according to John Halm, were 60 to 70 years old, belonging to the Shriners after the property was willed by the previous owner. According to the Goldendale City Police, Lt. Ron Ferguson, three male juveniles were allegedly seen running from the scene of this fire.
