Budget cuts force closure of Northwest Service Academy

Halloween was a very busy time in Trout Lake this year.  The town was appropriately dressed with well carved Halloween pumpkins, corn stalks, and decorations gracing the front of the Station Cafe.  The store porch was host also to Halloween pumpkins, no two alike, and corn stalks.  The leaves were falling and the fall colors were bright.  The new owners of Serenity's had a “meet the owners” open house complete with good food and more pumpkins.  The Country Inn had its traditional Halloween party.  There were wonderful costumes, especially enjoyed the frumpy housewife with her hair in curlers that I spotted at the store Halloween night.  And there were parties, trick or...
