No-cost vision care available, apply now

On President’s Day weekend (Feb. 18-20), Dr. James Ogden will be working with the Lions Club, some high school volunteers and a generous local benefactor to provide needed eye car to people who have no vision insurance or lack the funds to obtain an eye exam and eyeglasses.

The Lions Club will screen the prospective patients for eligibility. Two Goldendale High School boys who are interested in health care will do the pretesting. Ogden will complete the exams and order any needed glasses. The optical lab cost of the glasses that are provided will be paid from the funds donated by the local sponsor. The exams will be conducted at the office (103 West Main Street, Goldendale).

Applications need to be returned to P.O. Box 250 Goldendale or to Dr. Ogden’s office by Feb. 12.
