CKCD plant sale features 80 native varieties

The Central Klickitat Conservation District (CKCD) still has time to take orders for its 2012 plant sale.

Orders placed by March 16 can still be placed, with pick-up on March 24 at Mid-Columbia Producers in Goldendale by no later than 1 p.m. that day.

“This is our big fund raiser,” says Mindy Pomerinke at the CKCD. Pomerinke put together the catalog for this year’s sale, which has received a lot of attention for its colorful spread of native and other plants suitable for growing in south central Washington.
