Astronomy series featured at libraries


The public is invited to join Trout Lake Amateur Astronomer Jim White for two presentations about the universe and tools to explore the skies above. This series is for anyone who would like to know more about the stars, planets and galaxies, or are interested in getting/using a telescope.

Each of the two programs in the series will be offered both at The Dalles-Wasco County Library and the White Salmon Valley Community Library.

The first program, ‘What is in Our Night Skies?’ will be presented on Wednesday, March 21, at 7 p.m. at The Dalles Library, (541) 296-2815, and on Friday, March 30, at 7 p.m. at the White Salmon Library, (509) 493-1132.
