Lillian Moss



Lillian Jane Moss, of Klickitat, died March 14, 2012, at The Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles, Oregon.

She was born in Carrington, North Dakota, on August 15, 1935, to Jake and Lydia (Mauch) Rodacker. At the age of nine, her family moved to Toppenish, Washington. She married Curtis Moss on Aug. 4, 1965, in Yakima, Washington. During her lifetime, she worked at Jantzen Clothing, Luhr Jensen, St. Regis, and the Klickitat Primary School. She enjoyed camping, knitting, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a fantastic homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Lillian was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Bobbie, and infant granddaughter, Brittany.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Curt, her son, Jim and wife, Leesa (Goldendale) and son, Jay and wife, Becky (Klickitat); her grandchildren, Nick and wife, Kirsten (Vancouver), Hillary (Puyallup), Rachel and fiancé, Adam Bauer, and Sammy (Klickitat). She is also survived by her very special cousins, Pearl Rice (Union Gap) and Karen Williams (Elma), her brother-in-laws, Jerry and Esau, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on March 22, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at the Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel in Goldendale, Washington. A celebration of life will follow at the Klickitat School multipurpose room. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grace Lutheran Church, Lillian’s Memorial.
