Trout Lake man sentenced on homicide charge


Michael E. Parker-Lee, 23, of Trout Lake, was sentenced on March 19 to 18 months on a vehicular homicide charge and a consecutive six months for reckless endangerment.

Parker-Lee was found guilty Feb. 28, of vehicular homicide-disregard for safety of others and reckless endangerment. Parker-Lee was the driver of a vehicle involved in a single-car collision on Oct. 5, 2009 that killed Nathaniel “Nate” Robert Hall, 23, of Roy.

Evidence and witness testimony presented at the trial, revealed that Parker-Lee, was driving in a 50 m.p.h. zone while spotlighting for animals in an open-range area near Trout Lake. He hit an adult cow that was on the roadway at a speed calculated by the Washingt...
