Rohrbacher ‘comes out’ in hometown on I-502


George Rohrbacher, Goldendale rancher, farmer, former state senator, and inventor of The Farming Game, has also been known off-and-on as an activist for legalization of marijuana. Now, with state Initiative 502 (I-502) on the ballot this fall—which, if passed, would legalize recreational marijuana use for anyone over the age of 21 in the state of Washington—Rohrbacher is going public on his home grounds with the issue.

Rohrbacher spoke in Yakima on I-502 March 28, on the same bill with former Seattle police chief Norm Stamper. “Marijuana is dangerous,” he told the crowd of about 150 people, “but only if you get arrested for it.”
