Robillard scatters Wolf hitting for pair of wins in Goldendale

Goldendale had a tough time putting hits together against Zillah on Saturday, dropping a pair of games to the Leopards 5-1 and 10-3. Samantha Robillard went the distance in both games for Zillah, allowing 12 hits while striking out 15 batters in the two games.

Five of the first six batters singled in game one for Zillah and a couple of bases loaded walks gave the Leopards all they needed for the win. Brooke Graff led off the first inning for Goldendale with a triple into the left-center field gap, but a pop-up, a strike out and a grounder back to the pitcher left Graff stranded.

Haley Hoffman was sharp for Goldendale after the first inning, allowing just two more hits and striking out six...
