Glenwood students participate in Kony 2012 Awareness Day


Students at Glenwood School participated in the April 20, Cover the Day/Night Kony 2012 Awareness Day.

Joseph Kony is a recognized international war criminal who abducted more than 30,000 children from their homes and turned the boys into child soldiers and the girls into sex slaves. He has done this for 26 years now and has not been stopped.

Some of the high school History and Leadership classes at Glenwood School watched the Kony 2012 Part 1-Invisible Children video and were very concerned.

Students were so fired up about this human rights issue that they made Kony T-Shirts and posters. On April 20, students wore Kony shirts to school and posted fliers around town to make more people...
