Police arrests include domestic violence


The Goldendale Police made two domestic violence arrests in the past week.

The first was the case of Lester Howtopat, arrested on April 17 for three felony assault charges for incidents occurring over a three day period. The initial assault took place on April 12, according to police. The victim did not report that assault. On April 16 the police were called to the victim’s residence for another reported disturbance. Officers noticed injuries to the victim’s face at that time, but she denied anything had happened and refused the officer’s help.
