Wolves warm up to events, post team wins at Zillah and Moro, set slew of PRs

It was a good week for Goldendale track and field. The Timberwolves have been off to a sputtering start this year due to weather conditions that have made training tough and even caused cancellation of a home meet. But, things began to come together early last week at Highland where the boys’ and girls’ teams won their three-way meets against Highland and Naches Valley. The Timberwolves put a cap on the week with a strong performance at the Sherman County invitational where the boys won again and the girls finished third.
