Hood River man cited for DUI in rollover accident near Dallesport


A Hood River man was injured in a single vehicle roll-over, two miles east of Dallesport on Highway 14, last week.

According to the Washington State Patrol, James Michael Kahoe, 22, was headed eastbound on SR14 when his 2001 Ford Expedition crossed the road and collided with the north side guardrail and rolled over, ending on its top. The accident occurred just prior to 11 p.m. on April 25.

Kahoe, who had multiple lacerations and abrasions, was transported to Mid-Columbia Hospital by private vehicle. He was sent via life-flight to Legacy Emanuel.

Kahoe was charged with DUI.
